Build the Hoard! Collection Development Proposal

This assignment was meant to highlight graphic novel recommendations for certain readers; additionally, the titles up for recommendation were supposed to belong to a specific genre. These books featured in the above poster and annotated bibliography vary in age demographics and overall tone, but all also belong to the fantasy genre. Fantasy is my reading and writing genre of choice, and this is what motivated me to search for graphic novels within it.

Student Learning Objectives:

  • Create innovative responses to the needs and interests of diverse and global communities;

  • Demonstrate leadership attributes for a variety of information environments;

  • Analyze current and historical trends to forecast future directions of the library and information field; and

  • Create a plan for continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
